Concept Ad for Water - May 2026

In our day and age, new highly branded drinks pop up nonstop. Filled with caffeine, sugar, and shit, they dominate the markets and especially young kids who get mind warped by the poppy colors and labels. I know because I was once that kid.

This is not necessarily a slam piece on Redbull, moreso addressing the fact that we now consider water an “underrated drink choice”. That’s sad and concerning. I hate to sounds like an old man but it’s true.

Hit this issue in the face with a home video style campaign for H20. Those types of shaky/grainy home videos that are of skaters or a little kid on a tricycle (see video). I love that style of filming and it works well here. It makes the ad homey and cuts deeper into a persons mind than just a normally filmed Ad.

Shoot the entire scene in 1st person so that we feel like we’re in the mind of the kid who doesn’t know any better.

End scene : use Redbull’s slogan as the unfortunate fall guy for these drinks.
In text:
“No one’s really sure if RedBull actually gives you wings…But one thing we know for certain…water keeps you alive.”

Then right into “I want You Back” by the Jackson 5 as the bottle crushes the aluminum can. As if water is pleading to come back into our lives and bodies. No dialogue. Simple here. Like water.

Watch as this turns the tide toward a better future with a less tweaked out youth.
